Piano Lessons ages 5-Adult

Janet  Fullmer has taught music lessons (piano, voice, choirs) for over 30 years and never tires of helping children discover their love for music!  Helping children develop their musical skills and talents has been one of the rewarding highlights of her life! 

She graduated from Brigham Young University in Music Education.  She has has additional certifications in Multi-Media Lab Music, Secondary Music Education, Elementary Music Education.  She is also certified to teach Let’s Play Music and Sound Beginnings.  These young music classes are the perfect way to help children have fun while learning the difficult concepts and skills of music. She is thrilled to offer this program to families in her community.  

I am a strong believer that everyone should be able to have music in their life!  That's why I became a teacher. Whether you're a just a beginner or an advanced student needing guidance, let's explore music together and help you develop your musical gifts.

Piano Lessons Prices:

Sound Beginnings:  Ages 0-4

In this music class we learn:
Pre school Skills:  Letters, sounds, name recognition, telling time, calendars, counting weather & more, all  through musical play!  
Music Skills:   We learn Solfege, play instruments, teach in tune singing, experience classical music, identify timbre, introduce scales, sing high/low, loud, soft, and more.
Life SkillsWe examine feelings and appropriate responses, learn manners, practice taking turns, encourage helping and more 30 minutes, once a week.$40 per month (add $5 for each additional child)

Research has shown that the more senses involved in the learning process the more concepts are internalized. Children learn by involving their whole body. We use minimal explaining and lots of singing and movement. We use eyes, hands, ears and full body movements to learn information so that these concepts become internalized!

Let's Play Music: Ages 4-7 yrs

Let's Play music is a 3 year, foundational course that introduces children to the keyboard and piano.  Children develop musical skills aurally, through sining, moving and playing tone bells.

Year one:  Students learn rhythm, singing in pitch, ear training  and chord structures through musical play. $55 per month

Year two:  Students start playing the piano with chords and learn songs on their keyboards!

$60 per month

Year Three:  More playing on the piano and even composing!

$65 per month

Piano Classes for Older Children and Adults:

Semi-PrivatePiano Lessons 

7 yrs-Adult

 60 minute classes!

$70 a month

3-4 students in a class.  Students rotate between a private time with the teacher and other music stations in a lab:  Sight reading, Theory, ear training, & composition

Private Lessons:

7 yrs-Adult

30/45/60 minute lessons

Students have the option of doing 30 minutes with teacher plus 15- 30 minutes of lab time.

$80 for 30 min/$85 for 30 min plus lab. (per month) etc.
